For Campus Partners
Progression Team
The Progression advocates are dedicated ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp success professionals who assist and support undergraduate ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps from their second year to graduation.  They support state and institutional graduation goals and recognize that graduation is a holistic process that begins when a ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp enters the university.
Progression advocates have gained unique perspectives on the barriers that ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps encounter throughout their academic journey. The team is equipped to provide support to ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps with a range of barriers and utilize enhanced organizational and collaborative techniques to provide the best proactive support for ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp success.
ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp Initiatives
To align with Florida state metrics and support undergraduate ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps, USF launched a campus-wide Finish in Four initiative in 2017 to prioritize four-year graduation. The Office of Academic Advocacy (OAA) collaborates with multiple offices across campus and provides targeted outreach and support to first-time in college (FTIC) ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps with potential progression concerns to foster timely graduation. Due to unforeseen financial, academic, and/or personal challenges, some ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps require more than four years to meet graduation requirements. OAA works with these ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps to ensure they stay on track for graduation. The goal is for all FTIC ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps to complete graduation requirements within six years or less.
