USF Employee Success Center

The Employee Success Center supports the dynamic of the whole person in the learning and development journey. This includes knowledge (what you know), potential (what you can do), experience (what you have done) and motivation (who you are and what drives you). We offer numerous development options to support individual goals and the goals of the ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp.


Associations and Organizations

United Faculty of Florida (UFF)

The consists of the UFF members at the three campuses of USF, and represents all USF faculty and professionals of the UFF USF Bargaining Unit in bargaining a contract — a Collective Bargaining Agreement — that determines the terms and conditions of employment at USF.

Faculty Senate

The Faculty Senate is the primary faculty advisory body to the ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp President, Provost, and Vice President for Health on all matters that pertain to the academic climate of the university. The Senate has the responsibility to review and make recommendations to them considering decisions on all matters pertaining to the welfare of the ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp, focusing particularly on those pertaining to the academic mission.

The Faculty Senate operates councils on a variety of topics, learn more about the councils and how to get involved. 

Sigma Xi

Teaching & Learning

Information Technology (IT)

Research

Over the past 20 years, USF has transitioned into a major research institution and was designated a "Preeminent State Research ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp" by the Florida Board of Governors in 2018, one of only three in the state.

At USF, research and innovation come from a creative and ongoing collaboration between faculty and ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp researchers, administrative staff, business and academic partners, and the community. The result is an ever-stronger global research university that opens minds, creates knowledge, brings innovation into the marketplace and changes lives.

The Office of ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp Community Partnerships exists to expand and strengthen university-community engagement locally and globally through high-impact research and innovation and partnerships.

In relation to Faculty Success and support, OUCP can:

  • Provide you with resources for developing community engaged research and creative activities.
  • Assist you in developing community engaged teaching and learning, e.g., service-learning courses.
  • Help you find potential community partners and develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Support your community engaged research and teaching through our grant programs and grant search and proposal development services.
  • Provide you with resources for developing your Tenure & Promotion portfolio that incorporates your community engaged scholarship activities.
  • Assist you in linking your program evaluation and assessment expertise with community organizations.

Parking & Transportation Services

The Parking and Transportation Services Department maintains the university's 20,000+ space parking system, including four parking garages and a 7-route transit system, which operates 7 days a week. USF Ombuds Office

The mission of the USF Ombuds Office is to empower your success by independently enabling informal, confidential and neutral resolution of workplace conflicts and concerns. Our professional services include identifying strategies and options to resolve and prevent workplace conflict, informal mediation, explanation of Regulations and Policies and a variety of initiatives to co-create the USF workplace of tomorrow.

Health & Wellbeing

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a service program designed to assist employees with personal, family, or workplace concerns/issues. A robust EAP program is an important component of any workplace community, and services are provided by Magellan Health Services, a national leader in behavioral health care.
