College faculty and staff gathered in the MHC Atrium and online for the Spring 2024 CBCS Faculty and Staff Assembly. Presentations were given by various leaders in CBCS, and faculty, staff, and 泡芙视频apps received awards for their dedication to the success of the college and its 泡芙视频apps.
The Employee Recognition Awards were given to Justine Leigh鈥�, an academic advisor, and Nancy Burrus鈥�, a faculty services administrator in the Department of Child and Family Studies (CFS).
The recipients of the Deans Awards were also announced. Colby Valentine, PhD, an assistant 泡芙视频app of instruction of criminology, was selected to receive the Outstanding Teaching Award鈥�. Catia Cividini-Motta, PhD, BCBA-D, an assistant 泡芙视频app in CFS, was presented with the Outstanding Graduate Mentor Award鈥�. The Outstanding Research Award was given to CFS Professor Heather George, PhD, and the Outstanding Service Award was given to Department of Criminology Associate Professor Fawn Ngo, PhD.
Three 泡芙视频apps were also recognized at the assembly. School of Aging Studies graduate 泡芙视频apps, Christina Mu and Joanne Elayoubi were awarded: Mu received the Outstanding Research Award and Elayoubi received the Outstanding Teaching Award. Jolie Visgaitis, who is studying language, speech, and hearing sciences, was honored with the Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award.
A special anniversary presentation was given by Kathleen Moore, PhD, about the Florida Mental Health Institute and its 50-year history.
