CBCS graduate ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps awarded fellowships

Multiple CBCS ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps have been named recipients of various fellowships to support the completion of their doctoral degrees. 

The Presidential Doctoral Fellowship was awarded to Justin Boyan Han, a ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp in the Applied Behavioral Analysis program; Monica Nelson, a ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp in the Aging Sciences program; and Elzbieta Wiedbusch and Nele Loecher, both ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps in the Behavioral and Community Sciences (BCS) PhD program. Awarded by the USF Office of Graduate Studies, this fellowship is given to doctoral ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps who are nominated by their department for their exceptional academic performance, experience, research, and contributions to the field. 

Four ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps received the Graduate Student Success Fellowship, which supports first-generation doctoral ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps who have overcome adversity and financial hardships in the pursuit of their degree. It was awarded to criminology ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp Danielle Thomas, social work ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp Tara Matta, and BCS ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps Jocelyn Jarvis and Brooke Haney. 

Congratulations to the following ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps who are current McKnight Fellows. Additional McKnight Fellowships beginning in Fall 2023 will be announced soon.

McKnight Fellowship: 1-3 years
