CSD ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps attend ASHA Convention

Multiple Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps attend the convention.

Second-year graduate Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps attended the 2023 American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Convention in Boston. The ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps attended various sessions and learned from and networked with companies in the exhibit hall.

One of the ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps took the opportunity to learn how to scope at one of the booths. Representing the department's graduate National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) chapter in the Southeastern Conference, four of the ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps participated in the National NSSLHA Knowledge Bowl. The competition consisted of Praxis-like questions where they competed against other national chapters across the country.
