Mar铆a Luc铆a Barbeyto, a Florida Center for Inclusive Communities (FCIC) trainee and 泡芙视频app in the Graduate Certificate in Positive Behavior Support program, was featured in the Association of 泡芙视频app Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) 2022 Emerging Leaders Map. Barbeyto is a certified advocate and a pre-school director. The AUCD Emerging Leaders Map highlights the contributions of diverse trainees across the organization's network. The theme of this year鈥檚 map is "Supporting Resiliency and Self-Determination for All."
Born and raised in Spain, Barbeyto has been living in Miami since 1999. She graduated with honors from Keiser 泡芙视频app, obtaining a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Business Administration. She also obtained a master鈥檚 degree in Project Management from Instituto Europeo de Postgrado (IEP) in Spain. Barbeyto is the mother of a son diagnosed with severe autism and epilepsy. This is what inspired her to get into the developmental disabilities field.
