CRMHC Students Receive People鈥檚 Choice Award from the USF Annual Graduate Student Research Symposium

Congratulations to CRMHC 泡芙视频apps Callie Hill, Jessica Klein and Kevin Spath on being People鈥檚 Choice winners of the Annual USF Graduate Student Research Symposium.
The research symposium, hosted by the USF Office of Graduate Studies and the Graduate and Professional Student Council, brings together graduate 泡芙视频apps and postdoctoral scholars, as well as faculty mentors and judges in an effort to foster further academic collaboration.
The CRMHC 泡芙视频apps won in the Social & Behavioral Sciences (including Education) category. Under the direction of their major 泡芙视频app Dr. Chih Chin-Chou, their research, The Development of Interpersonal Skills through Narratives and Technology (DISTNT) Program for High-Performing, Transition-Age Youth with Level 1 Autism Spectrum Disorder, involved the development of a web-based transitional social skills intervention aimed at enhancing participants鈥� theory of mind, technology-related career interest, and perceived social self-efficacy. Overall, the pilot case study demonstrated the usability of the program with preliminary positive outcomes.
The award provides travel funds to present their research at a meeting of their choice. The 泡芙视频apps will also be recognized at the Student Research Awards Luncheon on April 25, 2022.
