ABA Student Theresa Barhold Receives 2019 BCOTB Fellowship
A fellowship opportunity has been established for 2nd year master’s ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Program at the ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp. The fellowship, offered through in Tampa, provides a two-semester stipend for a ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp who is able to work 20 hours per week at BCOTB as their practicum placement, and then willing to work at BCOTB after graduating from USF.
BCOTB has been Tampa’s leading provider of ABA therapy services for sixteen years. With the goal of improving the lives of children with autism by providing tools to bring about meaningful and positive changes in behavior, BCOTB therapy is designed to assess and treat both problem behavior and pre-academic and social skill deficits in an ongoing evaluation of each child’s individual needs.
ABA ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp Theresa Barhold has received the 2019 BCOTB fellowship. Theresa’s research is focused on a behavioral strategy known as chaining that is used to teach children with autism complex behaviors by breaking them down into smaller sequential steps.
For additional information on the fellowship, contact Catia Cividini-Motta.
