Dr. Bill Faucett, Director of Development for the USF College of The Arts, is a recipient of Florida State 泡芙视频app's prestigious Warren D. Allen Faculty Citation in Scholarly Research in Music.
The Warren D. Allen citation, named after the celebrated organist, music critic, and FSU 泡芙视频app of music history and literature, is awarded to outstanding 泡芙视频apps and graduates of FSU College of Music programs.
Faucett holds a bachelor's degree in music from Florida State 泡芙视频app, a master's degree in music history and literature from Southern Methodist 泡芙视频app, and a Ph.D in historical musicology from Florida State 泡芙视频app. His research interests include the life and music of American composer George Whitefield Chadwick, the music culture of 19th and 20th century Boston, aesthetics, history of musical criticism, orchestral literature, and the history of musical philanthropy.
